Safely transport vehicles to and from the dealerships from around the Tri-State area including Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Responsibilities include transporting vehicles to and from the dealerships. Drives vehicles and delivers or picks them up from around the area, including Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Operates both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Uses good judgment and safe driving skills. Keeps a timely dealer trade route. Uses cell phone and/or operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service. Keeps a record of trips and destination or pick-up point. Notifies sales manager of any damage the vehicles may have when transporting. Ensure all items (keys, manuals, etc.) are accounted for on pickup and delivery. Maintain a professional appearance. Perform related duties as assigned. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
Requirements include HS Graduation or equivalent, valid, unrestricted driver's license, ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, extensive experience safely operating a vehicle, and excellent customer service and communication skills. In accordance with RCW 49.44.240 this position is identified as Safety Sensitive and is subject to pre-employment drug screening including cannabis.
Benefits include competitive base pay $18 - 21 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, weekly pay, sick leave that is accrued at the rate of 1 hour per 40 hours worked, employee wellness program, employee assistance program for all employees, employee vehicle purchase program, and employee referral program.
