You'll work closely with Finance, Operations, Purchasing, and Production to understand costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability.YOUR MISSIONAnalyze manufacturing costs and production expensesMaintain standard and actual cost informationAssist with inventory accounting and valuationAnalyze material, labor, and overhead costsInvestigate production variancesPrepare monthly cost reportsPerform inventory reconciliationsAssist with month-end closeReview manufacturing transactions for accuracyAnalyze cost trends and identify unusual activityAssist with budgeting and forecasting related to production costsPartner with Operations to understand cost fluctuationsSupport annual physical inventory processesAssist with financial reporting and management analysisMaintain accurate cost accounting recordsRecommend process improvements when opportunities are identified
